Patrick Dougherty

Sculptor Patrick Dougherty has constructed over 300 installations around the world, using tree saplings as construction material. In September 2021, Patrick worked together with the Detroit community as part of the Detroit Month of Design programming to create a new sculpture entitled "A Walk in the Park" at Eliza Howell Park. The CultureVerse team took a scan of the piece to both preserve it and to attempt to capture its intricacy and craftsmanship.
